Good source for MQ tapes?

I'm sure this has been covered many times before, but can anyone recommend a good source for Panasonic MQ tapes?

I wish they published some of those DVXuser prices on supplies and such. It is a nuisance to call Rush for every little thing like tapes. I always end up buying tapes from http://www.taperesources.com They have a nice special that includes 25 tapes and a free DV rack. Quick shipping (usually same day) too.
 
Yeah I get mine from thetapehouse in Vancouver locally, Get them for $5.75 each. Pretty good price, as there are stores in town that try to charge $12 for them in town.

I just checked this website out, and it's unbelievably cheap!!!
Could this be possibly almost "expiring" tapes? i.e old tapes.
Because it says it's on special.
I don't know how much they'll charge for shipping but it's really cheap!!

Also, it asks me for the name of company, purchase order, GST and PST numbers...
Do I have to be running a company if I wanted to buy from here??
 
I just looked again at taperesources.com, and suddenly they do not have 63 min MQ tapes. I had 50 in my shopping cart, but did not order them. :( I hope this is not the beginning of another shortage!!
 
The tapehouse told me there was a price reduction on the Mq's.. I think Panasonic is releasing a new tape but dont know for sure.

They'll contact you by phone or email after you submit an online order. It's not a complete ordering system.

Nope, that stuff does not need to be filled in - it's just there if you need it.
 
Hi galt, I understand that it is pretty annoying to have to call every time you need some tape, and I have been working on getting a "Coupon Code" or at least a "Notes" bin on the website so that an order can be flagged as a "DVXuser" order and automatically get special pricing. :)

In the interim, you can always send me an email, and I guarantee all DV tape orders placed with me via email by 12pm Pacific time ship the same day M , T , Th , F.
