Good sites to find actors at?

I just read through the other thread and many of the filmmakers info is out of date. One person even said professional actors don't use casting sites and that is so far from true.
These days every agent makes sure their actor is listed on actorsaccess, 800casting, and more and that is not just NY and California actors. Actors around the country are on there now. The two I mentioned are heavily used around the entire country. Professional actors have to be on these sites now that video submitted auditions are becoming the norm for the 1st read. There is even a service for that now, called Ecocast that any actors can use to upload their video taped auditions from anywhere in the country or world for that matter.
One person on the other thread said that professional actors will send hard copy and that shows they are pro's but I can tell you that beginners also send hard copy too. So that is not the way to tell who is pro and who is not.
Check resumes, cross reference to the imdb and ask them questions about what they put down. You can often catch them lying on their resumes or making extra work look like a speaking role when it was not!
Depending on what part of the country you are in, you should be able to find talent agents who can tell you which actors they have are up for your project. If you are a new filmmaker some agents won't work with you but others will to get their talent screen time for their resume and reels.
