Good simple make up for film tutorials (not FX makeup...)

I was looking for a tutorial for make up for film... and found almost nothing that I could use to understand and then be able to request a make up artist, not necessarily with film experience, to do.

Anyone have any online URLs for tutorials like that... and I'm not meaning FX make for 'yet-another-zombie-picture'... but really make up that is for film to get an actor or actress a 'good look', even if they are supposed to look terrible...

What I'm also interested in is perhaps 'corrective/covering' make up to be able to deal with the no-budget talent that I have to work with...

Yeah, I was looking for a 'film' specific kind of tutorial, rather than 'Saturday Night War Paint'... and the 'film makeup' tended to not really give that specific result.

Heck... I wonder if there's a market for such a tutorial series...

Since I tend to be 'director/writer/cinematographer'... my interest is basically what to ask for of people doing makeup, either the talent themselves if they are doing their own, or a makeup artist who may not be familiar with the needs or requirements for film.
