I am looking for a good book focused on script breakdown, scheduling and budgeting. What are your recommendations? Thanks.

Making a good script great.
that's what the book is called. search for it on Amazon.com
That book has information on budget and scheduling? Last I checked it was just about improving the writing.

I read through that PDF. Some good information (and some bad that I'm going to write him about perhaps revising), but nothing significant on budget or scheduling.

You'll find some good books on both by searching "Film Scheduling" on Amazon.com.

What scriptwriting software are you using? Final Draft 7 comes with Tagger and MM Screenwriter can also break down a script. Both can give you files which can then be imported into Production Software such as Gorilla 4.0.

those are more producer related jobs than director related, but for low budget stuff i understand you have to wear many hats. anyway, i found this book to be helpful. - IFP/Los Angeles Independent Filmmaker's Manual

they go through the movie swingers and some others and show you their budget and schedules, etc. it also comes with a cd with sample paperwork.
