Good Premier to Backup workflow?

I'm just now realizing the importance of the backup workflow as well. How do you guys back up your projects? Do you back up all the clips, project files, rendered AVI, encore dvd files, and final image? For me, each project then takes up about 50-100 gig of space. I have two 400gig and one 250gig firewire drives for back up, but what I was thinking was to finish the project, then just back up the .img file that encore dvd creates.

Any thoughts?:dankk2:

What you backup depends on what you would need in the future. If there is any chance you might need to go back in, make edits, and rerender, then you really would want to double save everything. In that case, you could simply copy all of the files to the backup drive. If you have made a final cut of something and know you wont touch it again, you should only need to save the final output and/or dvd image.

cool thanks guys...many of our projects are closed once they are done, and output to a dvd image. For those I will back up only the img. :)
