Good place to buy fonts?

[Shawn Philip Nelson]

I need to crank out some posters today, and a search on the Cafe led me to a post by Zak that the font used on posters is 'Univers 39 Ultra Thin Condensed'. I'm on a MacPro using Photoshop CS3 and i don't have this font. Where's a good place to buy it?

I found this, $29.99, a good deal? a good place?

Whoa, that site sells the font in "Mac & Windows OpenType" for $29.99 or "Macintosh Postscript". Which is better? Or does it not matter?

I found you can also get it straight from Adobe

Plenty of free fonts that are shareware/full access. You'll probably be able to find a very similar one.

Buy fonts? They are plentiful and free if you just look. Whenever I have to do a new project, I end up spending a couple hours shopping for the right one.

except I already know I have to have this specific one.

just looked at that 'movie poster' and it says 'free for personal use'...hmmm, I wonder if making posters for a movie that I might charge people to see (such as a local screening, or selling DVDs) would void that?

[Capt Quirk]

Nah... you are personally using it for your personal movie
