Checked Filmtools but I think I just need to find the right keywords.

There's some decently priced stuff on ebay, but dunno if that's the right?

For Gel, the big thing is just heat resistant and a 10 x 12 panel correct? Or a larger sheet for Softboxes, etc?

Same for Diffusion, heat resistant?

Sorry, I am ultra newb to this stuff but thanks for everyones help.

I don't. Nothing wrong with used stuff as long as it still works for the most part.

Thanks for the link, Matty! China Balls f00. Get you sum.

If this is for scrims for the CDM 150, you can use the same ones used for an Arri 650w fresnel and they'll be fine. Maybe pick some used ones up on Ebay for instance. Filmtools.com should have them too though.

"(ND is something you might want to get also in your gel set. Cover glass doors and windows to cut down on the blowout when filming with windows in your frame in interior shots)"

one thing to consider is you'll want large pieces / rolls of ND - If I had to buy one, I'd do ND#6 since 3 really isn't too strong.

Check out rolls left behind at rental houses from past productions - anything under 3 feet they can't resell or stock on a truck so you've got a good chance at getting some free stuff that way.

What size/diameter is the accessory holder in the 150?

You are in the mecca of film production! There are MANY stores and rental houses that can help you and they are all close by. If you are talking about gel, some rental houses give scrap gel away, as CHEN said above. Ask around and take advantage of your amazing location!

Good Luck
