good on-board light

anyone here know of, or have a good on-board light. something self powered, and daylight balanced preferably...THANKS.

I know I'm new here but I'm sure I will be posting alot, I just got my DVX the other day. I have a pretty good handle on videography but have PLENTY room for improvement on this 24p deal.

there was just a long thread about this, do a search for frezzi

i have done a ton of research and i went with the frezzi mini 100 watt dimmable.

the frezzi mini sun gun is popular too but way more expensive.

Self-powered and daylight-balanced? The only possibility for that would be one of the new LED light panels. There's a company that makes 'em that advertises on 2-pop, or Jarred and Brett here have made their own.

I just went over to the 2-pop board to find the link, and I wandered into the forums and there was a thread about the 'clunk' and the people who replied were so sweet and explained what it was very nicely. We would have ripped that guy to shreds. The thread would have been 20 posts long before we actually told him what it was. ;D

Thanks alot guys...Ive seen adds for that LED light and I was very interested. I guess another option would be to use a belt back?
