Good manual for dvx100

That might sound stupid and I am sure it (partially) is, but I was wondering if there is on the web any .pdf or alike manual for the DVX100. Something that goes in depth, I mean. I do have the instructions that came with the camera and have been checking the web regularly, but I feel I never really got to know the camera as I should. By the way, this website helped.

Thanks.

Gotta say that Barry Green's DVX Book is awesome. You will find yourself going back and back and back to it when trying to figure out how to set up a shot. Just used it during my Zombie Short to figure out how to use the Slow Shutter Speeds (hope that doesn't give too much away  ) There are tons of links to the book all around the board. I would tell you where to get it, but I'm sure Barry himself will stick his head in and give you the best place.

Argh, sorry, I wasn't paying attention as I read your post. If you have the manual you don't need to download it obviously... I really should learn how to read more closely.

Either way though, Barry's book is incredible. Go to the latest news thread and there is a link where you can purchase barry's book

Sorry about the manual comment, I thought you said you didn't have it.

Wow -- thank you guys for all the nice things you've said about the book.

As to where to get it -- one of the best places is right here on DVXUser.com, because a portion of the proceeds goes to support this site.

If you can't order it from DVXUser for some reason (don't want to use Paypal, or paypal not working from your country, etc) you could also get it from Amazon, or you could order it from one of the resellers that carries it -- Birns & Sawyer, Abel Cine Tech, and Hello World Communications. For those in NYC or L.A., you can also walk in to one of those stores and pick it up there.

For a direct link to the DVXUser ordering portal, just click in the link in my signature line below. Thanks again, I really appreciate the kind words and the support!

No problem, Barry. I am seriously new to the filmmaking world, and your book has really helped me. Now if you could just write one about lighting (ha). I say your book, Jay Rose's audio books--Producing Great Sound for Digital Video & Audio PostProduction for Digital video (which I'm in the middle of reading), and Placing Shadows are my definitive texts right now.

Sounds like I'll have to buy Barry's book (which I will, promise.) Meanwhile, any other resources on the web?
You DON'T need any other resource, other than your native talent...

Barry's book is all you need.... I really never looked into the manual for anything besides a few detailed things regarding what some buttons are for technically.
