I apologize in advance if this question has already been posed and I didn't dig deep enough to find it but I'm just looking for some suggestions for affordable over the ear headphones to go with my zoom h4n. I saw some decent looking Sennheisers on New Egg and Amazon. They were around 100-120. Any other suggestions in this price range or possibly cheaper? I'm strictly using them for monitoring audio in the field. Thanks for your time.

Sony MDR-7506 or Sennheiser HD280pro.

I use the 280pro's now and love them. OTOH, I've broken up 6 pair of the Sony's and never want another. They just aren't built well.
I also keep a par of Samson HP10's in my field kit to use as beaters. I think Sam Ash has them on sale now...buy one pair for $29.00 get 2 pair free.

I've got both and prefer the 7506, but it's really just personal preference. The 280s have better isolation, but I find them a little bulky.
