Good Free Movie Planning Software?

Gorilla is great for low budgets. EP Scheduling is the main player. Almost everyone uses it. Neither are free though.

I think Celtex might come with a basic one? Maybe. And that is free.

Celtx is nice. We used it to plan out our Timefest shoot between NYC and Minnesota. It still needs some vital additions, like script versioning, but we were pretty happy with the scheduling, breakdowns, tagging it allowed. Worked well planning a small short across two states. Not sure how it would scale. I am working on a couple of feature ideas now, and am doing one from soup to nuts in Celtx. So maybe I'll start a thread as I get deeper in, detailing what I find on a bigger scale.

If you are broke and need to plan a film now, the price is right.

I still write in it, because though I had been searching through the other writing options, like MM and FD, I was overall underwhelmed by them, considering they are industry standards, and wish they did a lot more. I know eventually I will have to switch to one of them, but...
