Good DVD Featurettes on Editing

Hi all -

I'm teaching a college class on post-production and I'm looking for some DVD behind-the-scenes featurettes about editing.

I've got some great ones on Sound Design/Editing (Master & Commander and LOTR Special Edition DVDs are terrific) and Visual Effects (LOTR and Bad Boys 2 among many have great in-depth featurettes). But I'm having a hard time finding a featurette that shows the picture editing process in any detail. I'd prefer something edited in FCP as the class deals with Final Cut but honestly, at this point, I'm open to anything.

If you've seen the Walter Murch section of "The Cutting Edge" where he discusses cutting Cold Mountain in FCP or any of the "Invisible Art/Visible Artist" panels, those are some examples of the kind of thing I'm looking for.

Any thoughts?

I just watched the commentary on "Michael Clayton," which was done by the director and the editor. They didn't talk too much about editing specifically, but overall I'd say this is one of the better commentaries I've seen when it comes to gleaning insight into the filmmaking process.

The "Final Cut in Action" section of the Apple site does indeed have some good stuff. But it all tends to be pretty short.

I'm trying to put my finger on why it is that I can find a bunch of 15-20 minute featurettes about Sound Design or Visual Effects but not Picture Editing...

(Thanks for posting the longer Murch interview Batutta)

Anybody else have suggestions?

Well, I was going to recommend "The Cutting Edge", but I assume that you are already aware of it...
