Good deal on MacPro Ram...or not?!?

Does anyone know for sure if these will work? The photo is of my MacPro scan from Crucial.
PLEASE tell me it'll work. God knows how many years rendering has shaved off my life.

I think you need to balance the RAM i.e. you need another 1GB stick

It's (2) 4gb Sticks so I'd be balanced after removing a 1gb stick and installing those in the 2 vacant ports, right?

A thousand apologies, I just referred to your macpro system specs, as far I can see this RAM will be fine, its actually faster than the machine spec. And yes just pull out the 1 G stick and insert these guys. You may want to wait until someone else confirms my thoughts.
I might add some specify only buying mac ram with the fitted heatsinks but I have seen macs run on PC ram

No prob : ) Thanks for the reply. Just got off the phone with Kingston, though. No-can-do.
They said the 1600ghz is too fast for Apple's finicky system.

Darn. So close.

You learn, I did not think faster RAM would be a problem wonder what the issues are too fast for the processor to read...
