i know i have seen a post on this before, and i searched but was not able to find anything. Anyway i need a camera back pack. Right now i have a lowpro for my SLR and its great, but the DVX doesnt fit into it. I really like the lowpro but i dont have a ton to spend. Does anyone have recommandation for a bag around $100? I'm a college student and i rely on public transportation but mostly my bike so i need a bag with waist and chest straps. I have been looking at a few models but am not sure weather or not they would be big enought for the DVX. thanks.

I have a Lowepro CompuTrekker AW. It holds the DVX pretty well, but not a tonnnn of room for extra accys. I liked the bag because of the laptop slot in the back, but I hear that there is another identical backpack with no slot. I paid about 130 for mine at B&H.

I'll try to take a pic when I get home.

Re: good camera backpack for the DVX?

I have a couple of metal professional looking cases that I use for all my gear, but when I go out just to shoot a thing or two I picked up a duffel bag from walmart for like 12 bucks, and inserted a folded box to keep the camera from getting crushed I find this to be more practical than carting around a bunch of gear, and to everyone else were I live there won't be an thought's of hey lets break into that guy's apartment, just thought's of he must be going to the gym. anyway's if your getting it as a secondary case just get a cheap one, look around, you'll be suprised and the good cases that almost match up to those $300 cases.

What do you mean by fold box?

portabrace BK3... however, you pretty much have to take the mic off before putting the camera in... this is the case with any backpack because the mic sticks far out front. You pretty much have a choice of lens down or viewfinder down.
