What's a few interesting books to do with the film industry. Can be a biography or more general stories.

I have both William Goldman books and just purchase Roger Corman's book 'How I Made a Hundred Movies in Hollywood and Never Lost a Dime'.

An Empire of Their Own - How the Jews Invented Hollywood - bios and history of major Jewish players in the development of Hollywood. Obviously narrowly-focused, in a way, but, well, Louis B Mayer, and...well...darn near all of his contemporary power-brokers.

I love ebay. Just purchasd Easy Riders and The Ragman's Son. Can't find a cheap copy of Empir of Their Own just yet but will keep looking.

More suggestions please.

Thanks. Used copies on Amazon in good condition are over $100. I'll just ebey it every now and then.

I bought mine off Amazon for $50, and it was the hardback - the only hardback I could find - and it had been taken care of by a university library. I got lucky.

If I can lengthen the amount of hours in the day to 25 or maybe 26, I will read it and let you know my thoughts.

Just got a good copy of a Charlton Heston book 'Into the Arena' I think it's called for $4.
