Hi there all,

I've been looking for good informative books on cinematography on sites like Amazon.co.uk, but there's a HUGE list of books, most within the same prize-range.

Does anybody know of 'classic', or 'great' book on cinematography? Preferrably with (color) pictures, or even added DVD?

Thanks in advance!

The Five C's of Cinematography. Classic, not a huge read but covers the basics pretty well. More concentrated on basic techniques than trends, so it's not really dated. Doesn't go into technicals very much, not sure if you're looking for one that does.
