Does anyone have experience and/or recommendations with 35mm adapter for the HMC 150. I'm leaning towards the letus extreme. I have plenty of lighting and am looking to spend around 2000 for the bundle. Thanks
The main advantage of LEX is little light loss. Even if you have plenty of lighting you will appreciate it. Also, there's hardly any chromatic aberration. I've been using Letus with HMC150 for some time, but decided to sell it. Personally, I hated the fact I couldn't stop down past f4.0 (sometimes I had to open up to f2.8 to get rid of the grain). The other disadvantage of vibrating adapters is dust problems. The small particles of dust on the gg are hard to spot while in the field, but can ruin your footage. Also, the low light loss gg had very little diffusion which resulted in hazy/noisy bokeh, which I didn't like - however, this is more a matter of personal taste - some people like it, some don't. I definitely prefer rotating adapters...
