Good 75mm sticks

I do like the Manfrotto 504 head for the price, but I hate their sticks. Their midlevel spreader seems poorly designed and breaks too easily. What are some good value 75mm bowl sticks that you've had personal experience with?

I have two sets of Miller Solo DV carbon fiber legs that I like a lot. They're lightweight and spreaderless, and capable of going extremely low by spreading the legs to the maximum. Some people don't like the collet-style leg locks, however. I've had no problem with them but admittedly have never used them in really extreme conditions.

As far as value priced sticks I have been seriously considering the Benro Carbon Fiber tripods for quite some time. I had a chance to see their sticks up close and personal at Vistek in Toronto and I would not hesitate to buy them.

Below is a link to their website and their single tube range of tripods, I would be looking at their Carbon Fiber versions with the exchangeable center columns. The exchangeable center columns allow you to use flat base, 75mm and 100mm adapters, which makes these sticks very adaptable.

I would check ebay for the C3770T (3 sections) or the C3780T (4 section and slightly taller).

The Benro sticks do look nice. I couldn't find a retailer for the C4780T other than ebay and that worries me since they are coming direct from Hong Kong.

Benro has a US website and a Chinese site, which is obviously where they are based out of. For some reason they don't offer their full product line through their US distribution, not sure why. They may manufacture for other 'name brand' products and have agreements against selling competitive products in certain market (i.e North America and Europe)

I also looked for a North American retailer for the Benro stands I was interested in but with no success. But I have purchased plenty of things through eBay from reputable sellers without incident. The only thing you really have to worry about in my opinion is buying high end brand names at hard to beleive prices from Asia (usually a knock off) or high ticket items from sellers without much history or a selling history that doesent match what they are selling.

In the case of the seller of the Benro eBay links I provided none of the aforementioned points apply so I am not bothered by it. What exactly concerns you, maybe I am overlooking something

Basically knock offs. China has been very aggressive with stealing designs from Chinese companies as well.
