Going rates for sound design?

We've done pretty much everything ourselves, on my feature film. The shooting, the editing, the locaiton sound..

One thing we wanted to make sure was "good" was the sound design. So much so, that we might actually try to hire someone to do it instead of us trying to add another thing to our already full plates. The movie is micro low budget, so no we don't have a ton of money to spend.. but I'm curious as to what the going rate would be for someone to do sound design for a feature film?

Lots of different steps in sound - dialog edit, SFX, music, mix, etc. Are you looking for a price for all that as a package deal?

You will also want to make sure you keep your D, M, and E tracks separated as stems when you do the final mix to anticipate and deliverables from a distributor - what you are referring to is the "E" track for effects and ambiance versus the dialog and music. If you are looking for someone to just do the E track, who will be doing the mix? Stereo? 5.1? Both?
