Assistance appreciated - Re new projects i get libraries their great, but i have old media on my RAID (over 300GB), it consists of 10 folders with approx. 30 clips in each folder.
In 10.1.1 - I create a new library and try to import the media into a new event, but FCP just makes a copy of the original media filling my RAID (i.e two sets of the clips).
How do I steer FCP to use my existing media in the old folders

On Import tell FCP X to leave the files in place rather than copy.
This process creates Symlinks to the media.
