Is there any kind of gel out there that will let me make a home depot halogen lamp (3000k) 5600k? I know for 3200 you can use CTB, but it would be slightly warm because of the 200k difference.
CTB is what you want.
Incandescent lights can be all over the place, from ~2200K (and less) to ~3400K.
If you come up a little short, just add a tad more (i.e. add an 1/8 CTB to the mix).
But what Horse said is true; 200K is nothing to worry about.
