There are tons of shows here (in vegas). Phantom of the Opera I hear is pretty amazing. Haven't seen it myself. I would go downtown at least once, and check out the biggest TV screen on the planet. the fremont street experience. Also, the 3 story arcade called GameWorks.
there are ton of great restaurants though. I would avoid certain hotel though, el cortez(not so bad), imperial palace (horrible service), tropicana. There is a lot to do in vegas though, A LOT. The best stuff though, needs to be found. It's very hard to find a cool place here, and if it is cool. It's not very well known about.

Las Vegas is my favorite city in the World! Whenever I go (often) I just like to walk the strip at night.
Some fun things to do are: visit the cool casinos, ride any of the attractions (New York New York Roller Coaster?), see Fremont Street, eat at a buffet :grin: and see some shows. I saw The Blue Man Group last time I went and it was pretty spectacular.
Take the lady shopping (if that's what she's into) as there are some great strips of stores to look through (especially the Forum Shoppes at Caesar's Palace) You could ride the gondolas at The Venetian. Also, I would personally recommend Coconut's Ice Cream Parlor at The Mirage (I went there too many times last July!) it is delicious! :love4:

I have not seen it, but a couple of my friends swear that the Cirque du Soleil show "Love" featuring music by the Beatles is the best show ever (at the Mirage).
If you and your lady like cars at all, go to the Wynn and visit the Ferrari showroom. It costs $10 but the cars are crazy insane awesome.
I stayed at the Flamingo last time. Kind of kitschy, but you can't beat the location at that price.

I like the the Cirque shows.
I have seen O and Ka...Ka is a technology dream. It is incredible.
O is also good.
Freemont is cool. Just go late enough to see the LED canopy show.
