GoAnimate and Alternatives

I am thinking of using GoAnimate for an upcoming project. I usually don't like to use thrid party programs (especially online based ones) and prefer to work in Premiere and after effects when possible. That being said, it looks like GoAnimate has the simplicy I need to create a quick animated host.

What have peoples experiences been with GoAnimate?

Are there any alterntive, plugins, I can use with Premiere instead?
