I have a DVX100b and I am looking very seriously into the Go35.

Anyone who has anything to say about this, please say it. I want to know Pros, Cons, and everything.

If you can help me out please do. Thanks

Also the website is down, so I don't know what models there are and what is the best. Or anything about it, such as flipping or light loss. Thanks again

I think there is just the one model. Not sure what happened to the site or to James (pretty sure that's his name). He used to post alot, but I haven't noticed him around online in quite awhile. I don't think there is any flip unit.

I have one. I use it mostly on a Sony A1U though. I also added a condenser to mines. It's basically a thorlab tube so it's easy to tweak. It's lightweight and doesn't require power. The problem is I have to use it almost wide open all the time otherwise grain will show. Also, little pieces of dust and specks collect over time. There are some specks that I can't get rids of no matter how much I clean. Fortunately it's not that noticeable perhaps because I usually output to SD. I'm looking into get an SG Pro.

I got mine second hand for around five hundred bucks and I love it. I use it with my Dvx100b.

Pro's:
-beautiful bokeh
-good in low light
-easy to clean
-easy to use
-static design = no batteries or parts that will break
-no problem using high shutter speeds(ala saving private Ryan)

cons:
-need to keep it clean or dust will build up (But I think this happens with most adapters)
-Grain can appear if you use it at high f-stops(But, I bought it for shallow depth any way)

Overall, I love my adapter.

For the price I paid it can't be beat.

So $495 is a pretty good price for one?

I can't find anywhere where these things are priced at new, the websites down, and nothing comes up with searches
