Yeah... I always thought the same thing. I myself have been guilty of pursuing what seemed like it would be a good deal only to abandon the auction as the price grew to rediculous.
Had I known it was some other DVXuser member I might have saved him the excess cost... is that unethical? I don't think so... if your brother described some good deal at a local store, which sold in an auction format, wouldn't you feel stupid if you found out that you cost your brother an extra $50... or that he did that to you?
Frankly I don't care when items sell for reasonable prices... but I've seen postings like this before... and then the item gets bid up to stupid levels.
The best policy is to think about the items you want and then do frequent checks on ebay... that's about the only way to get one of the great deals you hear about... by the time it's posted here you 'aint gettin' one of the bargains.

Actually, I just phoned up Pyramid and bought them. I bought a Mole 2k, two strand 1ks, all complete with barn doors, scrims, and globes. I also bought 3 baby mole stands.
Total price paid was $604, including tax. Now where are you going to get 3 lights like that with stands for about $200 each with tax?
