glowing border- multi screen video

I have 4 layered multi screen video similar to the brady bunch look with one video in each corner of the screen. There is black space between all four videos, where a title is going to fly in from the left. I want to add a small glowing style border around each video to make them pop out more.

I can't figure out how to accomplish this. I messed around with it last night, but couldn't figure it out. The border fx seems to only work around the entire screen, not the individual smaller videos.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

I've tried two ways:

1. Using the wax plug-in effect, where you can put the video top left, top right, etc.
2. Using the normal pan/crop function, then stretching the video to decrease the size and then dragging it into a corner.

I figure that I could create a border image in photoshop, add that as a layer above one video so it looks the way I want it to, then render it. Do that 4 times for each video, then bring them into the timeline and create the brady bunch look with the borders that way.

But I figure there must be a quicker/easier way to accomplish what I want.

Add the border effect to the individual clips. At the bottom of the border dialog is a timeline. To the left of the timeline is the word "Border". To the left of the word "Border" is a small triangle. Click the triangle.

Do this, I believe for BEST results: Do your frame/window adjustments through TRACK MOTION, not through pan/crop of the actual clip.

Since the glow in TRACK MOTION is basically just a background that's SLIGHTLY larger than the frame you're working with, you could also just create a background sized SLIGHTLY larger than your frame, put it on the track under the frame you want bordered, and work that way as well ... it'll be 2x as many tracks/layers, but could give you different options to play with then (i.e. giving different effects/looks to your "border" that you may not have been able to do otherwise.
