We shoot a lot of interiors with the GH2/GH3 and we really need a rock solid stabilizer system, but I"m a newb and just can't get it right.
Interiors are really tricky because there are a lot of turns (hallways, rooms, etc) and there are vertical lines everywhere, so any kind of boat sway is very very easy to see.
Any recommendations? I bought a Glidecam HD4000 sight unseen and it's a huge monster. I'm wondering if the lighter HD1000 would be even more stable?
Should I try to sell the HD4000 and get a HD1000?
Should I get some weight plates? Where do I get weight plates?
Can someone recommend a vest and arm? The thing weighs a ton. There are a lot of cheaper $700 vest+arm units on Amazon. I REALLY don't want to shell out $1500 for a Glidecam one if a cheaper one is just as good:

Basically, the shots need to be rock solid with no sway whatsoever.
