Im looking to purchase one of the following but am unable to make a clear decision. Maybe you guys can help. I have an HMC40 with the Anton Bauer Battery (attaches to bottom of camera) , Microlight LED, Shotgun mic. Now from my understanding the Steadicam flyer supports 19lbs while the X-10 supports 10lbs...so far the flyer has an advantage there. Now I believe this does not include the sled weight...correct me if Im wrong

You're correct, most systems are usually rated as "camera weight". Your setup is maybe 5-6 pounds at most? The problem with getting into bigger setups is that you will probably need to add more weight to the top to make your rig stable. The X-10 is a nice setup and is much cheaper, plus you have an option of which sled you want to put on there. Pretty much any of Glidecam's sleds will work with that. The flyer is nice but expensive for what you get.

Well my wife has the HMC40 with XLR ,Shotgun Mic and that heavy ass Anton Bauer Battery. Im thinking it probably weighs close to 10 lbs now. :)
