Glidecam HD2000 vs. 2000 Pro

I need a stabilizer for a commercial that will be filming in a few days. I can get my hands on a 2000 pro, but the HD's are backordered for a couple weeks.

I understand that the HD has the quick release and "better ergonomics", but I'm wondering if the gimbal is the same for both- i.e. will the performance of both be the same?

Anyone have good experiences with the Pro?

i have the 2000 pro with the smooth shooter vest although i dont use it anymore since i got the Pilot.

my "biggest gripe" was the lack of quick adjustments on the top platform. the HD has exactly what i always missed on the Pro. from looking at the pictures it seems the gimbal is the same but i cant say for sure. the HD version looks nicer than the Pro model also.

my son uses my Glidecam now and eventually i will upgrade to the 2000HD. the smooth shooter vest is really nice. i always had a good opinion of the Glidecam with the exception of that lacking feature on the Pro model.
