Glidecam Forearm Brace-- Any good?

I've got a Glidecam4000 and a 100B-- together, balanced properly, are almost impossible to carry for any length of time to get a good shot going. I can't afford the awesome vest system yet ($1500-ish) but the forearm brace is definitely within my range.

Has anyone used it, and liked it? Is it worth the money for the reduced strain on your wrist-- and can you carry the camera longer with the counterbalances in place?

Thanks~

It seem like it would give a few more takes, but it is really a patch. If you want a great shot, you first need a real rig & a LOT of pratice.

So a few bucks will by you a few more seconds flying, not make your shots any better.

Sorry to be a bummer, but it's take on it ....

Steve,

That's what I was expecting to hear. It doesnt look like it does a lot of supporting anyhow-- that's why I question it's purchase b/c I dont see it actually releiving stress and allowing for longer operation. I may end up sticking with my 1.0 lb miniDV on it, which doesnt need counterbalance, and I have a LOT of freedom with such little weight....

I'll check that link out...
