Glidecam 2000 vs. 4000 for the DVX

I've read a lot of posts on these stabilizers in this section. What I want is specific feedback from Glidecam 2000 users that it is really sufficient for the DVX100A. I'd rather not pay the extra $100 for the 4000 if it is not necessary. I would not be using a mattebox or any other attachments for shots with the Glidecam - just the DVX100A. Most likely, I'd be using Jarred's battery, which is a bit heavier than the one that came with it (which I only use as a backup). Possibly, I'd use my AT897 mic on top, but that weighs ounces. Anyway, without all the extra stuff, is the 2000 enough or will I wish I had spend the extra $100.

Thanks

Glidecam 4000, the 2000 is small for my taste, and the gidecam 4000 can attach cams like a XL2 and the... DVX200?

magicdavek,
I had the 2000 and found it difficult to balance the dvx. I sold it and got the 4000 and it is much much easier to balance and has alot more stability. Learn from my mistake, spend the extra, it really is worth it.

By the way EVS sells the 4000 for $395, alot of places sell the 2000 for near that.
