Glidecam 200 crane question

What is the recommended tripod for the glidecam 200? It is listed w/ the paperwork that comes with the crane. Does anyone know? Thank you

I'd like to know as well. I've done some research on tripods that will support the weight of the crane (19lbs) plus the camera and tripod head (5-6lbs), but have been unable to determine which tripod legs without a tri-pod head is suitable for mounting the crane. Most appear to have no 3/8" threat (or any attachment means) without a tripod head. I don't believe a tripod head would be durable enough to support the crane.

Ideas anyone?

You take your head off when mounting the crane and it screws right into the legs. We have a Manfrotto tripod but the model escapes me at the moment.

Here's a picture of our tripod though:

It works beautifully with the Glidecam crane.

Thank you so much for the reply! If you happen to recal the model # please let me know. In my research I have discovered a few tripods with similar look. Do you recal the retail value? Thank you again! Very helpful!

I almost forgot. How much weight does the tripod handle? With the crane (19lbs), DVX (arpox 4lbs), camera head for the DVX (aprox 2lbs) that is 25lbs, then the counter weights (which I've needed aprox 40lbs). So, I guess I'm asking if the tripod is suitable for 65lbs of weight?

Thx!
