Has anyone purchased a stabilizer like this and can you give a report on one, any issues order problems, technical problems, quality issues. I'm salivating on getting one of these, but until I'm able to see some feed back, I'm leary of pulling the trigger to get one, I have looked at a lot of these on line and this unit looks like the best camera mount and better built unit.

I too looked at those gimbals but never went to purchase any. Those ones on ebay seem very prototype and incomplete so that buyers can DIY to put them to proper use. I am not really a DIY person so I wouldnt know what to do with them. But there are people who did buy them and testing out stuff and modifying the device for proper use. I don't know if any of them had a real success.
I think you should wait more for better and complete, and official sale of much cheaper gimbals (than Movi). This year should bring us more technological outbreaks with this gimbal stuff.

I'm waiting for FlowCine G-1, or ShadowCam (http://www.shadowcam.tv/s-5/ct-menu-item-7) which both look amazing... though they seem expensive... but they do damn look awesome to me!

This Shadow Cam looks very nice maybe the best looking one I have seen, especially that it also stabilizes the vertical movement up tpo 7". None of the other stabilizers that I have looked at have that. Love the way it folds flat and works with a standard rail system, very well designed, but I believe it's way out of my league price wise. I'm going to have to be a do it yourself guy. Anyhow exciting times for sure, I love technology!
