GH1 workflow on a Mac, PAL!

I take the liberty to start a dedicated Mac / PAL thread:

Connect the gh1 to you mac with usb, allow "connect with PC" on the gh1, in FCP, go to file, log and transfer, select the clips you want to transcode (you have to transcode with FCP), select add to queue, wait for the transcode, and voila.

I am doing this and it's working fine for me, smooth transcoding and importing and playing back from the timeline. Now to confirm that I am totally doing the right thing; I shoot, edit and publish on the web in h264/mp4 25 fps, is it correct that I don't need to do any pulldown?

I use these settings for sequence: Apple pro res 422 16:9.

All is good, your sequence settings should adapt to match the clip the first time you bring them into the timeline. The only step that would be any different, would be if you were mixing 720 with 1080, you just need to decide what resolution you want to edit at and then bring your first clip in that matches that.

I had been following all the discussions about pull-down removal in here and that really got me worried, then I did some reading to learn what the pull-down actually means, and wow, it's a typical NTSC thing and does not apply for PAL. Makes things a lot easier for us PAL boys, doesn't it?

And I love how the GH1 footage looks when playing full screen on my Book from the sequence.
