ha ha! that's funny, I forgot about this thread. yeah, I've since made progress bypassing aggregators because they were all telling us that they couldn't guarantee netflix. I was told by a few that a year ago 90% of the titles they submitted would get onto netflix, now it's closer to 10% because the focus has shifted away from building a big library of titles to getting higher profile titles and their original series for their streaming service. there also used to be a common understanding that the payout for streaming was a flat licensing fee. but a buddy of mine has a little indie feature with no stars and he's negotiated a per stream royalty too. so with most things, you get what you fight for. i still think netflix should be your last window of release so it doesn't eat away at premium platforms.
