I just shot a short film with the HVX200 (DVCProHD 1080PA), finished an edit on FCP 6.0. I have questions about getting the best HD output via FCP meant for festival screenings. This is my first time working on HD, so Im unsure about the post process, esp how to get the best quality master.
This is what I intend to do:
Edit on final cut using the converted 1080P QT files, rent a DVCProHD deck and output to DVCProHD tapes using "Print to Tape"
Will this get me the best output? Or is there another process that requires me to go back and conform the edit to the MXF files using other softwares?
