Getting that "Saving Private Ryan" look

the best way to get tht saving pvtryan look is to blow lots of stuff up while the runers are doing their thing. that will certainly give you camera shake, and may dammage teh camera enough to cause the "defects" like, the film gate being out of synch.

Over expose 1 stop. most of that footage was over exposed alot. Also shoot in CinegamaD so you can get some knee. IT will help if youre intentially overexposing. It makes over exposure look more natural.

Yeah, I have that problem too, maybe I'm just stupid. Anyway, if anyone has an explanation, and a cure for this ailment I would love to hear it.
