Getting smoky atmosphere

Hi
i'm gonna shoot a long scene in a spanish pub. I want to get a smoky, dark but soft atmosphere. Only two actors in two different tables.
I was thinking Kinoflo (neon light in general) with warm and cold tubes would be fine. then some smoke around and little lamps on the tables.
does anyone have suggestion with this kind of set?

That's pretty cool. I'm not even going to bother asking if the stuff works. For $17.00 bucks a can, who cares? I'll use it as a door stop if it doesn't.
