getting ready to edit a RED feature (harddrives)

Sorry if this belongs on Reduser but I figured you guys would know just as well. I am about to shoot and edit a feature on RED and need to prep my Mac Pro. I already installed all the software I need for R3D files I am more concerned about hardware. What kind of drives and how many should I have for this?

We are shooting 4K/24P/ runtime is almost 2 hours of usable footage.

I would prepare for about 1-2 TB of footage at 4K, depending on your shooting ratio.

I keep 3 redundant externals for the storage/transfer on set, then I work off of a 4TB 3ware sidecar RAID 5, or off my internals, depending on the project.

I do my R3D transfers using R3D data manager. It costs about 80 bucks, and it is a lot slower than transferring via drag and drop, but it verifies every piece of data is transferred. Great piece of mind.
