getting p2 clips into final cut express

I am having trouble getting my p2 clips into final cut express. When in FCX if go to import files under my mac hard drive i see the system is comunicating with my cam but it just shows a little white hard drive that has no name. I can do into it and see where my video files are from my card i just cant access them. any tips would be great :Drogar-BlackEye(DBG
 
Doesn't work, I guess FCP Express can't handle the P2 cards, I learned that today when I tried for the first time. Unless you down-res to a dv tape and then capture off that it's time for an upgrade. I'f I'm wrong let me know, I'd love avoid paying $$$ for FCP. Thanks.
 
as far as i know FCE doesn't support the DVCPRO HD codec... at least i couldn't find support for it when i tried.

maybe if panny called it DVCEXPRESS HD it would work :-)
