Getting nothing through DVD Studio

Hey Guys,

So a friend asked me about a problem she is having and I don't know much about DVD Studio Pro and I figure I'll ask here in case I ever come across the problem in the future.

This is exactly what you emailed me...

We make the designs in PhotoShop, yes?

The menu design is complete, the back and disc design is done, and all the films are pretty much ready, and I have stuffed DVD Studio Pro as full as it can get. It is in the red, if you know what I mean...And maybe this is my problem, maybe I need to take a film off or something to clear up some space.

But, When I attempt to burn it on a disc, it says that it is formatting and is doing everything it needs, and then it'll say SUCCESSFUL.

So I put the disc I just burned in my computer to see if it really was as SUCCESSFUL as it says...and it is nothing...there is nothing on it. nothing pops up. nada. No menu, non of my images, no films, NOTHING.

So please if you know what the problem is or you heard of this problem, please let me know.

Thank you and I apologize if this is common and I failed at using the search engine.

Thanks DVXUSER!

Come on guys. I was hoping I could help a friend out. Please let me know if anyone has seen or heard of this issue before...

Thanks

I would be certain the disc is being burned. By selecting "Build" in DVDSP it will merely build the DVD in a folder on your Mac. Be sure to select an option that includes disc burning, like "Burn" or "Build/Format". If it's not that, I couldn't say. Because the log reads 'Successful' I wouldn't think there is an issue with any of the options that were set.

Thank you so much Mike!!!!!! I'll will update the post as soon as I hear back from her with her results. Thanks again Mike!
