Getting My Work out there

[mangoduvall]

I am sure this has been asked before but I am still struggling with three things
1) Is a full service Production service now considered a niche?
2.) How do i charge for my concept development?
3.) besides DVX Festival what are some legitimate festivals to show my work?

I will try to post a couple things this weekend. Thanks for your input

Hi, Mango, I took a look at your Web site and it seems you are trying to get a legit business off the ground. To that end, could I make a suggestion? When the search capability is re-enabled on the board after the server upgrade is complete, look through some of the previous threads that address your questions. They are good questions all, but very broad. Being new to the board, you might profit immensely by checking out previous discussions on these topics and then posting a more specific follow-up question. For example, dozens of discussions have covered rates (quick answer, it depends on the market you're in, and what exactly does your "concept development" service include???). In the meantime, for festival info, check out http://www.withoutabox.com. It's pretty much the leading festival Web site; many others are out there -- just Google "Film Festival." Good luck!
