Do you really expect your question to be answered? Things are not so simple... Each adapter has its pros and cons. I've spent couple of months reading and trying adapters and still don't know which one is the best.
Search the forum and learn before you buy.

Take the following criteria into account:
- rotating/vibrating/static (determines the ability to stop down the 35mm lens)
- flip vs non-flip
- light loss
- edge to edge sharpness
- chromatic aberration
- vignetting
- bokeh rendition / diffusion
- available lens mounts
- build quality, weight (if you plan to shoot handheld or steadycam)
- last but not least - warranty, support, price, delivery

I actually feel bad that I asked a similar question when I first joined this forum haha. There really is no answer to it, you have to just pick the one you want after doing some research

Since it's your first one, i suggest taking a look at the SG blade, Brevis, or Letus Elite. These ones will be the easiest in terms of headaches to setup.

The M2 is a great adapter, but the original has issues with vignetting, and light loss, not to forget the amount of setup time most people complain about.

the Sg blade is a new adapter from Wayne here on the forums. Great adapter at a great price. It's strengths is the design to have interchangable GG elements. One loses about the same amount of light as the Letus, and the other loses a bit more with fantastic film like bokeh rendition. You can use any F stop on the 35mm lens and any shutter speed as you see fit. Down sides is that it is not as sharp as the Letus and has a bit more Chromatic aberration.

The Letus Elite is a fantastic adapter our there from Letus which allows you to adjust backfocus on the fly. You are limited to F5.6 and more open otherwise the GG shows up, but from what i've seen, it gives the best edge to edge and the least amount of CA out there. Very robust and excellent customer support. It also loses the least amount of light.

The Brevis is similar to the Letus in the sense that it is a vibrating adapter. It has the ability to change GG elements as well and from what i've seen comes very close to the Letus in terms of image. It is very competitively priced and is fabricated in Canada ( home! ). Dennis is a very cool cat and is always ready to help anyone out. It is definitely the lightest of the bunch and would probably be the best option if you are looking for low weight.

I suggest you let us in on what it is you intend to shoot so we can help direct you the right way.

I'm selling my HVX so I set up a FX1 that I have with my Letus extreme and I'm really impressed with the image. I've never really used the FX1 but with the adapter and deinterlacing the footage looks great. I'd also look at the extreme it if you are starting out. It has worked great for me and you can upgrade to the Elite if you need it. I just set my backfocus with the screw and it test out fine.

Your moving from the hvx to the fx1? Why? I think you might be first person in history to do that.

not moving to..... just sold the HVX to move up but have the fx1 in the corner (belongs to a company I work with and is never used but they'd never sell it either) so I set it up. Now to pick a new camera...... NAB? The FX1 always surprises me how good it is for a camera that cost so little second hand.

at this point in time I recommend the sgblade. They just nailed it, it's a great piece for the price.

As for the brevis, I would wait to see what they have to show at NAB. Rumor has it they're working on a grainless solution.
