Getting a QUICK celebrity cameo

This thread http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=143425, got me thinking about a project I am doing.

I am making a music video, and would love to get a celebrity for a QUICK cameo. This could be an actor, artist, or just someone infamous. You typically see this in hip hop videos, where you see another rapper, nod to the camera.

Here is what I have to offer them:

A great song that is for a good cause.

It could give them positive exposure.

It would take very little time to do, maybe 10-15 min.

I would like to make it as easy for them as possible (i.e. go to their place of choice, maybe when they are on set and have some down time)

Any advice on the best way to go about approaching celebrities and/or there agents with this is greatly appreciated.

Money. If they're a celebrity they won't care about exposure, and most won't care about a good cause either, because who knows what you consider a good cause versus what they do. I consider feeding the homeless perpetuating the problem, whereas someone else considers that a good cause. I think it's a horrible cause.

Offer the agent cash and you can get a cameo. Otherwise, be good friends with a celebrity and I'm sure you can get it done for free if it's so short.

if your song is really 'for a good cause' - saving the whales, bringing peace to the Middle East, whatever - then find a celebrity who's into that good cause, as they have some motivation to donate a bit of their time for that cause

Otherwise I can't see too many real celebrities (as opposed to sad publicity hungry exhibitionists) being interested
