gettin this time blur look

how would i go about gettin this type of image on the DVX100a?

like...just the things moviing the in the image become blurred over the course of time....

and i forgot this one...

Top image is done wth a long exposure. You can adjust the shutter speed on the DVX100a to be fairly slow but may not be enough (I have the 100)
Many editing programs have time averaging filters or have similar filters that can be purchased.
The take several frames but individual frames may be visible. You can also do this by layering the clip multiple times offset by a frame on each layer with less than 100% opacity.

The clip looks like a double exposure of two moving clips, possibly with crude motion control.
Shoot 2 clips and layer then in your editing software timeline. Set opacity of the top layer to 50%
