Get it to look like film

I know that PP2 has the 24p mode. The problem is that I have the Sony PD-170, and that does not shoot 24p. I am working on a feature length film and I really want it to look like film. Does anyone have any idea on how to do this? are there any free plugins?

Red Giant Software (www.redgiantsoftware.com) has a program plugin called Magic Bullet which does a phoenomenal job in mimicking the look of film. You can also use it to give your movie looks like The Matrix, CSI, Bad Boys and other popular "movie feels".
It's not cheap and will take a enormous amount of render time if your files are long, but the results are quite outstanding.
Note: regardless if you use Movie Looks or another program or none at all, play around with your NLE's color correction features. It'll do wonders.
