I have used the 1000 watt honda generator, it is really quiet, however, I had a hard time getting it to power a 250 watt halogen for some reason, it just didn't work very well. It could power a laptop or a production monitor just fine though, and would be awsome for charging batteries and the like. It's really small and light.

FYI, I had a 500 watt light, a 250 watt light, a production monitor, and the DVX on the generator and it worked like a pro.
