The electronic governor on my generator seems to be on the blink. I will not be able to get it in the shop until the end of the week. What sort of flicker issues from HMI's and Kino's can I expect. I may have to rent this week :-(

A little more information is necessary. Do your HMI ballasts have magnetic or electronic ballasts? Also what kind of generator are you using? Finally by the "electronic governor" do you mean the AVR or a Barber-Coleman Crystal governor.

The Generator is a 30KW Crawford. Most HMI's are electronis but a couple are mag. The governor I am speaking of is a Barber-Coleman.

What kind of frequency variance are you getting with the Barber Coleman on the blink. Is the engine surging or running relatively stable but just of 60 Hz - if so by how much?
