General Question- Thanks for the help

I am doing a project in my free time just for fun and wanted to ask what the best way was to take a clip from a video site like YouTube, Google, etc., download it, and then be able to throw it into Premiere.

if you can download the clip, you can just import it into PPRO, or just drag it onto the timeline.

Unfortunately Premiere doesn't recognize flash file. First you have to download the flash. Do a search on Google for "downloading video from youtube" and it should give you a few sites that'll do that for you.

Then you have to convert the flash file into a format that Premiere can read. I use Riva FLV encoder to convert the file into MPEG and edit.

Just found this in my web travels: Moyea FLV Importer for Premiere. The same company has a free FLV downloader that would let you poach those glorious YouTube videos...
