gels, clamp light, etc

I just picked up a clamp light from Home Depot for $6 to see what I could do with it. I was wondering if there are bulbs that are daylight balanced that will work with it? It only takes up to 100w bulbs. Also, I picked up a dimmer with it. When I dim the light, does the temp. change?

On another note, does anyone know where to pick up some cheap color correction gels?

You can get daylight photofloods, they're about $5 each, but they only have a life of about 4 hours, and I think they're usually about 250 watts.

What you want is probably the dimmable SpringLamps from TCPI. They're compact fluorescents that can be dimmed, and you can get them in tungsten-ish and daylight-ish colors. They go up to about 27 watts or so, which is equivalent to about a 100-watt incandescent.
